Paint Crew Leader

Position Tasks & Expectations

As a full-time paint crew leader, you will oversee and work in all steps of the painting process at job sites and lead crews of various sizes. The position qualifications and tasks as a paint crew leader are as follows:

  • Applicant must have s GA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Applicant must have a valid US work authorization permit.
  • Applicant must be fluent in English.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of painting experience.
Lead the crew by example in quality, efficiency, and conduct. What’s expected:

  • Work ethic to work diligently and lead in that way.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver excellent quality to our customers.
  • Professional conduct (word and action) both with our team and when interacting with our customers.
Effectively delegate tasks to crew members to maximize productivity. What’s expected:

  • Understand the scope of the project in its entirety and the processes required to complete it with excellence and efficiency.
  • Delegate tasks to team members, providing instruction and teaching when necessary to maximize the effectiveness of teamwork.
  • Oversee and monitor the level of quality the crew delivers.
Ability to complete wood and drywall repairs from start to finish. What’s expected:

  • Learn to identify common trim sizes and profiles.
  • Ability to measure accurately, cut wood trim using a powered saw, and install trim using various fasteners such as nail guns or screw guns.
  • Ability to measure accurately, cut drywall, hang, and finish to paint ready.

Paint Crew Member (Apprenticeship)

Position Tasks & Expectations

As a full-time paint crew member, you will work at job sites through all steps of the painting process alongside crew leaders and other crew members. The position qualifications and tasks as a paint crew member are as follows:

  • Applicant must have s GA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Applicant must have a valid US work authorization permit.
  • Applicant must be fluent in English.
  • No experience required.
Learn and grow at efficiently prepping job site areas for painting with a coachable attitude. What’s expected:

  • A coachable attitude that will learn and receive instruction from crew leaders.
  • Protect work areas using floor protection, tape, plastic, masking, etc.
  • Sand, caulk, fill holes, and make small repairs on drywall.
Learn and grow at skillfully painting walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. What’s expected:

  • Apply paint accurately using various applicators such as brushes, rollers, and eventually spray systems.
  • Ability to set up, use, and physically handle ladders of various sizes.
Learn to complete wood trim and drywall repairs from start to finish. What’s expected:

  • Learn to identify common trim sizes and profiles.
  • Ability to measure accurately, cut wood trim using a powered saw, and install trim using various fasteners such as nail guns or screw guns.
  • Ability to measure accurately, cut drywall, hang, and finish to paint ready.
